Objective of the project	Production of saplings of wild-fruit rare species of Zhetysu Alatau by creating a nursery farm for vegetative propagation for consumers working in the field of preserving unique biological diversity, forming collection plantations and producing fruit products and green urban planning.
Project Description	Genetically identical saplings of rare wild-fruit species of Zhetysu Alatau will be obtained for reproduction in the nursery farm of at least 7 species by methods of obtaining pure culture, micropropagation, cuttings. Saplings of rare wild-fruit species will provide the basis for reproduction and preservation of the gene pool, the formation of collection plantings, the production of fruit products of rare wild-fruit plants and landscaping (Sivers apple, Nedzvetsky apple, common apricot, Almaty hawthorn, Jungar hawthorn, Ili honeysuckle, Tianshan ash, Ili barberry, Meyer currant, etc.).
