| Project Description | There is an acute shortage of sugar in the republic due to the current geopolitical situation – Russia has banned the export of sugar to Kazakhstan. At the same time, the republic is provided with domestic sugar by only 27% – the deficit is more than 73%. The same situation is observed with compound feed – with an annual requirement of 5 million tons, only 2-2.5 million tons are produced. In this regard, the project “Commercialization of the technology for the production of syrups and liquid sugar from sugar sorghum with the processing of waste into animal feed” is relevant. The implementation of the project will make it possible to produce liquid sugar from domestic varieties of sweet sorghum for the confectionery industry and the population of the country, to export sorghum syrup to foreign countries, and to obtain highly effective animal feed from processing waste. Food products from sugar sorghum are natural, environmentally friendly, recommended for patients with diabetes, for the production of baby food, etc. Compound feed from sugar sorghum processing waste contains a lot of protein, microelements and vitamins, their efficiency is much higher than conventional compound feed. |
