| Project Description | Research on the project is devoted to an urgent problem for our country – the organization of domestic production of diagnostic drugs through the commercialization of the results of scientific and technical activities. The increase in outbreaks of foot-and-mouth disease worldwide, the unstable epizootic situation in border countries and in Kazakhstan, as well as the lack of effective control measures and diagnostic tools served as the basis for the development and implementation of this project. Within the framework of the project, it is planned to organize the industrial production of the following drugs: 1. A set of reagents for detecting antibodies to foot-and-mouth disease virus type A using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. 2. A set of reagents for detecting antibodies to foot-and-mouth disease virus type O by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. 3. A set of reagents for detecting antibodies to foot-and-mouth disease virus type Asia-1 by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The organization of the production of domestic diagnostic drugs will make it possible to abandon the import of test systems from foreign countries, there will be a real prospect of entering the markets of foreign countries, the socio-economic situation in the country will be improved and a worthy contribution will be made to strengthening the biological safety of the state. |
