Project Description | Two-stage purification system based on a catalyst at the first stage and reagent purification based on an acid gas absorber at the second stage The following main results were obtained as a result of the work performed: – The presence of fluctuations in the concentration of toxic components of exhaust gases caused by different composition of fuel and the ratio of air-fuel mixture was established; – – simulation and visualization of two-stage purification of flue gases of standard boiler units have been performed; – 2 catalytic units for the first stage were manufactured for testing the two-stage purification system. – Based on the previously performed simulation and visualization, the pilot unit was manufactured, test assembly and its launching was performed; – Pilot plant units were installed at the workshop site on the chimney of the utilizing boiler; – testing by the two-stage flue gas purification scheme and evaluation of its effectiveness in different modes was conducted; – It was shown that the two-component – catalytic and adsorption purification scheme works most effectively; – The two-stage purification layout based on catalyst blocks at the first stage and reagent purification based on an alkaline absorber of acid gases – at the second stage, showed itself positively when working with actual boiler exhaust gases Integrated purification system allows to clean exhaust gases from toxic components without high-cost transfer to gas. |
