Objective of the project Providing the needs of settlements in subarid areas of South Kazakhstan and the Aral-Syrdarya region, adapted to these conditions planting material of ornamental plants
Project Description “80-110 thousand stress-resistant, certified seedlings of tree and shrub plants for growing in subarid conditions of Aral-Syrdarya region will be produced annually in production nursery of MKTU Botanical Garden named after A.Yasawi.
Developed recommendations on cultivation technology of stress-resistant and certified seedlings will be given to nurserymen of the region.
A permanent nurserymen workshop will be organized at the Botanical Garden, which will expand the nursery industry in the region.
Implementation of results of this project will allow providing population of South Kazakhstan and Aral-Syrdarya region with high quality nurslings of ornamental plants and getting on average from 40,0 up to 150,0 million tenge of profit per year.
